HP Slate 2: What with Google tearing off its kindly-old-widow rubber mask to reveal some kind of money-gobbling, privacy-ingnoring, performance-failing dick-monster, and RIM generally sucking at existing, the tech-tables have very much turned. If you’d have told me three years ago that Microsoft would take the moral high-ground or that they were (partly) responsible for the nicest non-Apple hardware out there, I would have laughed, kindly, and then committed you to some sort of sanatorium, which is a polite way of saying that I’d have thought you were fricking nuts.

And then there’s this. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. A upgraded version of *the* worst “iPad killer” ever made. Even Paul Thurrott thinks it’s a bad idea.
